No it is not awful time for women but because Ovarit is closing and I am a woman of a certain age celebrating my birthday I have a some observations.
The world is becoming crueler. Take Germany where there will be far fewer women serving in political government positions. Be strong and consider that the internet may not be helping women/people achieve a better life. Try reality and activism.
Violence is prevalent in gaming and entertainment. Is it at all real? My experience is that men are violent and even men who can seem to be charming initially want what they want. Learn self defense and make sure your daughters learn self defense starting at a young age.
Consider living with a partner. Fine and good to explore relationships when you are young but we all need to have someone who will be at our side when things are hard. Don't expect your partner to be an ideal person. They too have lived through childhood.
