Caught a section on BBC Radio 2 today where there was a woman talking about endometriosis and she said something like (can't remember the actual statistics, sorry!) "40% of people suffer from endometriosis".
So is it that 40% of people, of which 0% are men, so 80% of women have it? Or is it actually 40% of women? In which case it's actually 20% of people?
This stupid "never say women" nonsense just makes things so confusing and removes any capacity for imparting information.
