i always thought this because mens dicks are so gross. like, nevermind the fact that so many men do not wash their hands after peeing…they dont wash their hands BEFORE handling their penis in public! so their penis has public door handle germs! and this is standard! seriously never ever met a man in my life that washed his hands before handling his genitalia.

I can't recall having had an opinion on it, but ... bacteria are transmittable, duh. Rather obvious.

(Considering that an uncircumcised partner is a risk factor, it seems that men in the developed world still don't wash their dicks. Allegedly it is possible to get an uncircumcised penis as clean as a circumcised one, but men clearly aren't doing it.)

Public door handles .... ew, you are right, I only thought about them not washing their hands after, but not washing them before is also gross. End result is that a man's penis has the bacteria of other men's penises on it. Yuck.

All hetero women should develop a "kink" for watching men shower before sex, asap.

Well by that logic wouldn’t yeast infections be STIs as well? That can be passed to the partner too

Seems that the flawed study in the 1980s was given a lot of weight for years.
