I've tried to research this for myself before bothering anyone with this question, but all I found was responses like "you've seated it wrong" or "just use a smaller/shorter brand."
I am 100% sure that I'm doing it right, and using the smallest/shortest tampons available that were gifted by a now menopausal friend, who is since out of contact so I cant ask her. They still HURT terribly.
And I don't mean that it's uncomfortable close to the entrance, what I mean is it hurts very deep inside and makes the cramps next to unbearable.
I'm suddenly in a situation where I don't have any underwear therefore can't use a pad. (I barely have any socks or clothes or shoes either, it's all just a mess.) So I desperately need to be able to wear a tampon, yet I can't tolerate it for even an hour.
I guess I'm venting, but why the hell does it hurt SO bad. Please tell me I'm not alone in this. I have to leave the house tomorrow and idfk what to do, I'm essentially free-bleeding at this point.
