FirstQueen Camilla first ever divorced woman to be crowned?
Is Camilla really the first divorced woman in history worldwide who has been crowned queen? I can't think of any other in any country worldwide. Widows yes, but divorced women? Thanks for any information on that.
I can't help feeling a bit bad for Camilla. She gets a lot of shit for being "the other woman" even though she and Charles were together before Diana came along and they were pressured to break up for bullshit reasons. And she gets unfairly compared to Diana (mainly in terms of her appearance). It sucks that she only got a break when Megan Markle became the press' new favorite punching bag

Technically not divorced, but Eleanor of Aquitaine had her marriage to Louis VII of France after fifteen years of marriage and two daughters. She then married Henry II of England and became his queen consort.
