I was going through my friends' stories and someone shared an infograph about how trans people existed historically with a bunch of countries/civilisations and I knew exactly who they were referring to because it's been discussed before in GC spaces. People transwash Hatshepsut because she referred to herself as "pharaoh" (masculine title because there weren't a lot of female rulers in Ancient Egypt) and wore a beard because it was traditional and that's enough for her to be seen as "trans masculine" or "nonbinary" fucking bullshit.
Those people convienetly forget that "a man's soul in a woman's body" or "woman's soul in a man's body" was how a lot of cultures (mostly Western I think) viewed homosexuality
Where did their critical thinking skills go? This is so stupid.
