We made some changes to make archiving the site better.
All comments are loading at once on posts, so there aren't "load more" buttons. This makes loading posts with a lot of comments slow, but means comments won't be lost in many archive efforts, as long as they don't save the page before the comments load.
All dates have been changed to absolute dates instead of relative "posted 3 minutes ago" dates.
I've disabled automatic blurring of NSFW-marked posts for viewers who aren't logged in.

We're also planning on making a flat-file archive to distribute after closing to people who are serious about hosting a backup. If you want to request the archive PM me and let me know what your plans are. Watcheratthegates posted a thread to lower archival chaos here.

This never felt relevant enough to bring up but I’ve always wondered and the site’s closing so fuck it: is it some kind of legal requirement that any controversy involving trans in the UK has to be referred to as a “row”??? That word is in like every single headline out of the UK posted here
She’s not just speaking up for women’s rights, she is advocating for basic human rights and is one of the few powerful billionaires pushing back against living in a totalitarian state. Can you imagine a young child being expelled for saying something that is factual? And people applauding it? This is insanity.
