Part of Dworkin’s appeal for Gen Z radfems may well be that she was non-binary, trans-inclusive, and ahead of her time in calling for reforms such as access to gender affirming care. Or, as Gen Z would put it, she wasn’t a TERF (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist), although she was a bit of a SWERF (Sex Worker Exclusionary Radical Feminist).
They are posthumously calling her non-binary now?!
I think they mean she was “inclusive of trans and non-binary people”, not that she herself was
It is very unclear that Dworkin was trans-inclusive. See this essay:
This is an interesting article but because it is put out by a university of course there is the obligatory genuflect sentence to the Cult of T buried in there.
My understanding is that Dworkin was not trans-inclusive, and that her husband (who had his own agenda) made that up after she died.
I’ve talked in the past about my brief experience on TIRF (“trans inclusive radical feminist”) Twitter, and most of them fell into one of two categories:
So Dworkin would probably fit in the first category. Back in her day her reaction to the 100 or so transsexuals that were around was more of a live and let live “you go guy! err… I mean girl” and probably would have never expected they would claim to literally be biologically female.

That would be my take, too.
I am very angry that Dworkin married that scrote.
Genuine question why?
