I’ve talked in the past about my brief experience on TIRF (“trans inclusive radical feminist”) Twitter, and most of them fell into one of two categories:
Older women or women from non-Western countries who hated what porn, prostitution, and sex-based violence had done but most of the trans-identified people they were familiar with were effeminate homosexuals, so they thought “hey look, they’re treated poorly too- we’re all in this together, right?”
TIFs who were beginning to become “purplepilled” so to speak on mainstream gender ideology and realized how much female socialization had effected them, but physically, emotionally, or mentally detransitioning wasn’t an option for them. One person in this category had written a thoughtful post about their experience and what led them to transition, then detransition, and then retransitioned again in a rare display of nuance and genuine emotional intelligence regarding the subject.
So Dworkin would probably fit in the first category. Back in her day her reaction to the 100 or so transsexuals that were around was more of a live and let live “you go guy! err… I mean girl” and probably would have never expected they would claim to literally be biologically female.

My understanding is that Dworkin was not trans-inclusive, and that her husband (who had his own agenda) made that up after she died.

That would be my take, too.
