Racism Denialism on Ovarit
This issue is honestly beginning to drive me away. In the past month, I can’t count the amount of highly upvoted “racism isn’t that bad anymore” comments I’ve seen, in addition to people implying that WOC have some level of privilege over white women just because a handful of deluded woke folk pretend to care about us. I’m sick of seeing people who hate women, like Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson and other conservative scumbags, receive praise just for criticizing trans ideology. I’m sick of seeing people excuse conservative racism (and sexism!!!) just because the dems have let us all down. From my perspective, Ovarit has become increasingly rightwing sympathetic and I honestly hate it. It’s alienating as fuck. A lot of people here act like the left is just lying about how racist conservatives are, but as a black woman living in a conservative area I’ve experienced it firsthand. It’s not an exaggeration. I feel that nonwhite women and WOC’s issues are tokenized here the same way TRAs tokenize us. That is all. Curious if anyone else feels this way.
Reminds me of the time somebody shared a pic of Jamie Lee Curtis' son (the one who grew up to be a cliched pornsick AGP) as a little boy with a comment like "What went wrong?". But in that pic he was wearing a tshirt with Wario on it that said "I beat your mom in Mario Kart". Like damn, kid never had a chance, his mom raised him to be disgusting lol
