I'm keeping fingers crossed that it will actually be everything the movies weren't, do justice to the books, and become the definitive adaptation. Both because I'd like to see a version that actually captures the tone and the humor, but also because pettily I'd like to see Radcliffe and Watson stop 'being' Harry and Hermione in the public eye. Let them stand on the strength of their own talents if they find their lingering connection to JK Rowling so distasteful.

Radcliffe and Watson were such bad choices, from their looks alone, their backstabbery and ingratitude are just the icing on the cake.

(I want a curly-haired Hermione, for once. Watson's wavy hair was a bad joke. I don't always care about such details, but with Hermione, her curly hair is an essential part of her character arc. As are her teeth. Which Watson couldn't be arsed to wear the prothesis for after the first movie.)
