I loved this show when it came out. I was a raging libfem so the TIM character didn't bother me, but I really connected to the experiences the teenage characters went through such as the death of a parent, discovering how exploitable sexuality is, trying to fill emotional validation through sex, and even the domestic violence that one of the characters goes through. I sobbed during the stand alone episode with Zendaya's character and her sponsor because it was filled with so much raw emotion.

But after peaking in early 2020, I'm not sure I can continue watching this show. If anyone else has watched this show, I would love to read your opinions.

The subreddit "true lesbians" for, well, true lesbians only, was run off reddit back in 2020 for being a hate group.
