I have always loved watching football, and really enjoyed Sudays game and half time show; but holy shit the commercials were beyond disturbing. Apparently people fogetting what food is and eating physical things is hilarous, no worries just order food from Uber eats! Because, what society needs right now is people not knowing how to prepare food and always eating fast food that is delivered right to you! Feel lonely and dejected? The metaverse is here to save you! No, it isn't disturbing at all that the universe is unbelivably phony and gaudy! Reality sucks! Don't want to be an old foogy? Use Cryptocoin! LOL Anyone that criticises any inventention ever is a moron LOL! Look your Smart Devices are talking to each other! That isn't creepy at all....You can get tech to actually take care of everything! Robot dog! Yes, don't like actual real dogs...Robot dogs are awesome(yeah I know it was for an electric car, but still) I actually really appreciated the commercials like the beer commercial that actually had people bowling.
I am I the only one that finds this constant nudging that we should all want everything done for us and that we should want to do everything online extremely disturbing? I have always loved people that actually know how to do things and enjoy the fact that they know how to do something. It isn't good to want everything NOW, and to think everything should be just so easy and convenient. I find it beyond depressing that malls, skating rinks, bowling allys, physical stores are going byy the way side. I am also tired of everyone always on their damn smartphones as well. I hate that apparently our future is going to be all about technology.
Cottagecore sounds like some annoying fad people will go through, trendy bs that won't really change anything once its followers find something else to latch on to fill the void. Anyway some people have always lived simply and not directly linked to the high amount of technology being pushed today. Except they're not on social media selling their narrative ... I think sometimes we forget there's a big wide world outside of the internet.
https://wwoof.net/ I have actually known a few people that worked on these farms for various reasons(wanting to new experiences, finding farm work interesting) and I can't really see any of them as really cottagecore. They dressed normal, and didn't advertise wht they were doing. Now, there is nothing wrong with liking fashion and dressing nice...I kind of wonder this type of fad is more of a reaction to how a lot of modern clothes are just kind of boring.
I've always wanted to go Wwoofing! I didn't even know what cottagecore was until someone mentioned it on this site. I have a feeling a lot of cottagecore clothing items (particularly for women) wouldn't be adequate out there in the blazing sun as you do intense physical labor on the farm.
