It's a few years old but is on Netflix again. I watched it for the second time last night with my mother. She hadn't been aware of the case first time around and was blown away that this happened.

Dolezal is more complex and intelligent than people give her credit for and her story is strange in many ways. If you haven't watched this documentary I highly recommend it.

That being said I still can't understand how the same people who vilified Dolezal praise trans women. I can't understand how they tell themselves these two things are different.

My personal opinion is that racism is considered real oppression while sexism is not. I think there are a lot of people out there who just don't see women as being oppressed. To me this is an extension of their contempt and hatred of women of any race.

After watching this documentary again I found myself incredibly angry all over again. I do not agree with what Dolezal did but she has been destroyed for doing the very same thing Bruce Jenner has been celebrated for. This is just more evidence of how much women are hated. Men like Shaun King are only lightly mocked for doing the same thing.

Oh she's so beautiful and her fur looks lustrous and well-maintained!

She has the thickest, stickiest undercoat I have ever felt. The topcoat is so soft! I can't pet her without getting a layer of oil stuck to my fingers. Oh well, just wash my hands after! Ugh gotta go give her some more kisses now!!!
