This comment was hilarious

Next time, the second a therapist gives you the impression they dont believe trans people exist. Just stand up say "thanks for your time, but i don't believe we'll be a good fit" and walk out. Honestly, this goes for cis people too, if a therapist isn't up to date on what a trans person is then they likely have other significant gaps in their ability to practice and help people.

You heard it here, ladies! If a therapist isn't up to date on the latest dogma regarding Gender Christ, they're not qualified to help you with your anxiety or your grief over your dead grandfather or whatever other problems you have. We know it's true because a man named "BadBitch" said so! 🤣

the whole fucking point of therapy is to confront things you're uncomfortable with, find out exactly why you are, and work on dealing with them in a healthy manner. "therapy makes you feel good, therapy helps" BECAUSE you get to the root of your issues and detangle them to breathe properly. Blind affirmation just stuffs you up without questioning why or what is actually eating at you. It makes you feel good in the short term but no amount of affirmation will diagnose the fact that you hate your own sex or why.

Too many people these days think "therapy" is just a handmaiden session where they affirm you and encourage you and praise you without deep diving into anything. It's just blind unquestioning support. That's not therapy my dudes that's validation jerking

I have been hearing (in interviews with Abigail Shrier about her most recent book) that lots of people are now using therapy as basically a substitute for having friends.
