I am new to this circle (and to Ovarit). Nice meeting you all :-)
I went vegan a year ago. Mainly because I did not want to participate in animal cruelty anymore. I have been trying to adopt vegan diet with lots of raw veg. But I am a crap cook. Really clumsy in the kitchen . . . Cooking is often a struggle for me.
I have bought this vegan cookbook as a Christmas gift for myself. I love it, the recipes are not too complicated, my level really. So, I have a task cut out for the coming year - learn to prepare nice vegan meals.
I will be sharing my vegan kitchen adventures here with you.
Just don't be harsh on yourself) Amd the salt tging is quite easy - I always add less, when I am not sure, you can always add more, when it's done
Also, with vegan food, I have found that undersalting is more common than oversalting. Best cooking advice I have is to taste as you go. <3
I have been putting too much salt recently which really spoilt dishes, I invested time and effort into. I just don't have what it takes to cook edidble foods. So I am hoping my new cookbook will help me start cooking food, people can actually eat.
I will start practicing - "taste as I go" method!
