RaveA TERF judges a history project
Posted February 2, 2024 by Spencer_Shayy in Women

Long story short, I'm a volunteer judge for a local history competition. One of my students is presenting on Title IX for hers. She's only about 12 or 13, so of course I don't expect anything substantial.

In the feedback section, I'm gently encouraging her to 1) not take her rights as a girl for granted, 2) reach out to women born before 1972 to get some eye witness testimonies to the pre-Title IX women's world for her project, and 3) understand just how important Title IX was for American girls and women.

Hopefully, it'll plant a seed in this girl's head not to take her rights for granted. So many young people don't understand how much worse the Western world used to be for us.

my local women-owned bookstore let Rowling's books sell out about a year ago and never restocked. and they wonder why they're going out of business.

Hmmm we don't stock the most popular titles in existence because we don't like that author for who they are as a person (but let's not look closely at any other authors), why are we losing money?? 🤔 It must be the customers who are wrong

Also, thereby alienating a huge percentage of our customer base who probably agree with JKR. Hmm 🤔 the mystery continues 🤔
