Who do I get in contact with concerning online bans based on homophobia?

Would the LGB Alliance be interested in invoking a lawsuit against platforms like reddit?

This is specifically to do with a lesbian being banned for saying lesbians like pussy.

Petty, yes, but if Roxanne Tickle can get a lawsuit for not getting into a female app, I have the right to speak up about this too.

This is similar to cases based on free speech in the US Supreme Court about a year ago 02/26/24:

Alito complained about the term “content moderation” that the sites employ to keep material off their platforms. “Is it anything more than a euphemism for censorship?” he asked, later musing that term struck him as Orwellian.

But Justice Brett Kavanaugh, seemingly more favorable to the companies, took issue with calling the actions of private companies censorship, a term he said should be reserved for restrictions imposed by the government.

If you want to talk to a lawyer to understand what all your options might be, you could contact the American Bar Association in your state to be connected with a lawyer after intake.

I also see various legal centers set up with the intention of pursuing justice for specific, disadvantaged groups. I worked with a lawyer connected through the “me too” legal fund. It’s possible you could find a lawyer through a women’s-focused group rather than a strictly LGB legal group. If you really want to pursue it, I would approach from all angles and talk to a few different lawyers.

o/Activism is a circle for sharing various calls to action for feminist causes, including petitions, fundraisers, letter-writing or call-in campaigns, etc.

The call to action should be clear from the post itself. Do not post links to news/articles and then write about what to do about them in the comments. Instead, make a text post with the action to take described in the post, and then include any links to news/articles in the text post. Posts that are links should only be links to pages that include calls to action in them, or are relevant, current activism resources. No one should be left wondering "but what am I to do about it?" after reading a post.

Image posts are only enabled for event fliers and advertisements of feminist groups. No other images are allowed.

Personal or action-inspiring activism reports may be appropriate here, subject to mod discretion. This is not a discussion circle but a call to action circle, so the activism report needs to contribute to calling others to action. In general, it's a better idea to use the feminist discussion circles listed below.

Activism groups that are friendly to gender critical feminists can also be advertised here. However, advertisements for Discord chat rooms or other private groups must be pre-approved by /o/Activism moderators before you post. Please report any ads for private groups that do not have a comment from a mod confirming that it is approved. Never give anyone sensitive information that could be used to de-anonymize you without first vetting them yourself. Be careful!

This circle is about accomplishing specific feminist goals. If you want to discuss ideologies, current events, debates, articles, or news, use other circles such as /o/WomensLiberation or /o/GenderCritical. If you are posting a specific event, you probably want to post to /o/FeministEvents as well.
