The problem imo is not so much that women/girls dont't mind being called guys. The problem is that men/boys would most certainly object to being called girls/gals.
You see the same thing happening when girls get boys/unisex names. Do that and the girl is "cool". Try giving a boy a stereotypical girls name and it's "cruel".
This circle is for videos relating to anything and everything feminist or women-centered. Content creators themselves don't necessarily have to identify as feminist, but the content of the video must be broadly perceived to be feminist. Videos by male content creators or declared antifeminist content creators will be held to higher standards and may be removed at the discretion of the moderators to maintain the pro feminist intention of the circle.
Rules:
Relevance: Women's issues should be the primary focus. (videos about animals, diet related issues, etc. will be removed even if they involve gender)
Formatting: Do not change the title of linked videos. If you would like to provide some commentary on the video and/or why you posted it, please do so in a comment.
Promoting Infighting or Drama: Do not start or perpetuate infighting or drama. Disagreements must be civil and must be about the CONTENT of the video, not about the poster, other commenters, the site, etc.

There is definitely an element of sexism to it.
