In totally unsurprising news a TIM calling himself Melissa Ingles was in a lead role at Twitter - writing algorithms that identified "wrong think" - you know, stuff like anything to do with protecting women and children from AGPs, saying women don't have a penis -anything JKR talks about.
In his own words " I worked as a data scientist in civic integrity - I wrote and monitored the algorithms which checked Twitter for political misinformation. We worked closely with teams which set strategy and policy - they defined what misinformation was. We wrote and trained algorithms to look for them.

I don't like Musk, but the media outrage and constant reporting on the downfall of twitter is so sus. I mean Facebook fired 10k worked too. And from what I see with Twitter, a lot of these people were useless(sad as I am to shit on fellow workers but with these TRAs it's hopeless), none of them did anything to improve that place, instead they were the muzzle of women.

Well, they were absolutely shielded by their TiM buddies in positions of power, so I guess I'm not that surprised. It is egregious for sure, though.
It's not media outrage. They powers that be are upset that the TRA agenda can't be pushed on the platform anymore. I'm convinced of this. It's that blatantly obvious, though none of them will admit exactly what "hate" language is being referred to. All they've been saying is how many times the N word has been repeated as if any of them cared. And by the way I personally saw no evidence of that but I digress.
I mean, most media outlets are reporting on it with clear bias against any and all decisions Musk makes, media outrage is right. Also everywhere you go people are talking about, saying twitter is burning to the ground. There's definitely something happening here and it's worth noting. And at this time I'm seeing little remarks on meta and other corporations doing mass firings.
I've been going on the same assumption, that the complainers would be happy to allow all sorts of bias on Twitter as long as TIPs are protected from people not buying into their identities.
Just look at how desperate they are to take down Kiwi farms (which has meticulously documented TIMs’ abusive behaviors) vs say 4chan (which has similar levels of people saying slurs and such but is very AGP TIM friendly). They ONLY desperately attack the site that is recording their misconduct.
TIMs are generally straight white men. I cannot stress enough that they do not care about any truly marginalized groups of people. We know they hate women, but they tend to be raging racists, homophobes, etc as well— they just use those groups as tools (eg talking about deaths of young cross dressing gay Black men as if it has anything to do with their straight white suburban programmer sock asses).
It’s been getting more and more mask off lately too. It used to be they’d say things like “We oppose all bigotry — racism, homophobia, and transphobia”(they never mention sexism obviously), but now more and more they’re just openly talking about “transphobia” as the only issue
TIMs are obviously the most dedicated to shutting down any speech they don't like, and they have the power to do so thanks to their knowledge of tech, their influence, and their wealth, but they're not the only ones who think "misgendering" is the worst sin.
I think a lot of allies carry their water on this because the allies buy into the narrative that TIPs will all kill themselves if their comfort is in any way disturbed. In contrast, they believe that other minorities and maligned groups have thick enough skin to bear seeing bigotry directed against them.
And, to some degree, we all need a thick skin because there's only so much that can be done to shut down bigoted speech, and TIPs don't need or deserve more of that protection than anyone else. If they are as delicate as the narrative says, then there's no time like the present for TIMs and TIFs to get used to being called men and women respectively.

There was a way, but it was complicated. Now it's right there when you hit report. It's pathetic, also twitter used to fight people who complained about child abuse in the platform. Got receipts on that.
It was complicated and it was just as likely that the reporter would get banned.

I was thinking about this last night. For so long it seemed like many lawmakers were allowing their direction to be dictated by a very tiny percentage of screeching ideologues on Twitter, because they were so effective at silencing dissent on that platform (let alone reddit, etc). This also strangled public discourse and gave a very uneven view of most people's views. We know this is because of the strange marriage of "techbros + pornsickness = TRAs" and the mafia-like power it gave them on social media.
So I am very curious as to how this will affect public discourse, and if this odd turn of events is going to knock the whole house of cards down. The trans agenda cannot stand up to any sort of real scrutiny or criticism, which is why they are so desperate to 1984 the world.
I also do not really believe the hysterical reports about how Twitter is burning to the ground, activity on that site is way way up right now and people are having a blast. Of course I could be wrong but I'm grabbing the popcorn to see how this all shakes out.
Saw a tweet from Elon today that said protecting kids from predators / abuse was his #1 priority, which is good.
Also he reportedly held a meeting with all the web dev engineers & asked them to provide key lines of code, so he can better understand the platform.
He seems to have an engineering kind of mind that likes to deconstruct things & understand how they work.
Will he stand for some cowgirlboy in the ranks who's manipulating the website build in order to satisfy their political agenda?
Hopefully this kind of behaviour will become a sackable, instead of sanctioned type thing.

I recall reading their terms saying something along the lines your not allowed to insult people based on gender, race (thats a lie they ignore that), sexuality, nationality etc but the glaring omission was sex wasn't on the list so you can be as sexist and misogynist as you like
