QuestionHow small a minority really?
So this is more of an opinion based question, as I'm unsure if anyone could ever know the true percentage. Basically we always hear that the abusive/toxic/aggressive TRAs and supporters are a loud minority of the movement, but ngl I'm really starting to question the validity of that often repeated statement.
Even in real life the trans identified people and the trans allies that I encounter still appear to support the more dangerous trans/gender causes more often than not. Causes such as supporting children having access to "trans affirming healthcare" (including hormones and possibly even surgery, and that puberty blockers are reversible), and believing that adult performers being around children isn't suspicious as fuck.
Not to mention that even big name companies, not insignificant portions of the government, and well known celebrities even support a lot of the more harmful causes, so how small a percentage could they actually be to have so much support? I get that it's about making money, getting votes, and if you'll excuse the buzz word, virtue signalling for many of the people pushing for this stuff, but the fact they have something to gain from it should show that the trans/gender supporters make up a larger demographic than they let on. I am willing to believe many people who support it may just be naive or want to "be on the right side of history", but they're still pushing dangerous ideology whether they are able to understand it or not.
So I was just curious what people here thought based on their own experiences, both real and online (and feel free to share any stories). Do you really believe that the craziest and most toxic TRAs and gender ideology supporters are just a small minority of the whole movement, or do you think they represent a far larger percentage than they'd like people to believe?
