PodcastLet's Discuss Transgender Spirituality
Posted July 1, 2023 by IdeologyInspectHer in GenderCritical

A podcast, The Time of the Feminine (The Global Sisterhood) just put out an episode titled, Jonah Welch: Let's Discuss Transgender Spirituality

An interview with a TiF with the same story we've heard here over and over. Didn't fit perfectly into "gender roles" or with girls her own age and describes herself as a "modern trans mystic." She claims that her body modifications didn't come from a place of "hating or wanting to fix" herself and that it was divinely informed.

So, why take testosterone and remove your healthy breasts, Jonah?

She also parrots off the claim that these surgeries/interventions are not happening to people under the age of 18, and if they do, it is extremely rare. She is either uniformed of the fact that this IS HAPPENING or she does know and is obscuring the truth.

It is a great example of how trans/gender ideology is a religion.

here is a timestamp list of the episode, which you can find on Spotify or other streaming accounts:

02:23 - Introducing Jonah 05:02 - Jonah's Story 11:02 - Growing Up 17:55 - Treating Boy Bodies and Girl Bodies Differently 20:09 - Body Dysmorphia and Trauma 24:22 - The Process of Taking Hormones 27:27 - The Medicine and Energies 29:51 - Changing of the Body 33:29 - The Miracle of Jonah's Name 36:30 - The Christian Tradition 41:57 - Divine Androgyny 47:25 - Spirits, Aliens and the Extraterrestrial World 50:30 - Ignorance towards LGBTQIA+ Community 54:53 - Surgeries for Young Children 57:44 - Liberation and Magic in the Pain of Surgery 1:00:41 - Why Did the Creator Create Trans People? 1:04:21 - The Fun Stuff 1:06:53 - Jonah in Behalf of the Divine Mother 1:08:25 - Where to Find Jonah 1:09:42 - Bonus Content

Of course, asking questions about Jonah's story is akin to blasphemy - the host of the podcast will accuse you of not working through "your own shadows" and other weird spiritual lingo meant to shame you into accepting Jonah's story as a Divine Trans Person

it sounds like her religion is self-worship.

Unbelievable. First of all, there are two high profile cases of children being given puberty blockers and being mutilated: Jazz Jennings and Kim Petras. Secondly, there are several ongoing lawsuits filed by adults who were mutilated as children. Finally, they're literally called puberty blockers lol. Who goes through puberty? Children you fucking dumbasses. The only adults who get prescribed Lupron are sex offenders who take it for chemical castration and cancer patients.

I was on Insta yesterday and it's hilarious how gendies will parrot the party line that kids aren't being medically transitioned but if they were, puberty blockers are TOTALLY reversible. They stick their heads in the sand and it's honestly pathetic.

First of all, there are two high profile cases of children being given puberty blockers and being mutilated: Jazz Jennings and Kim Petras.

I think it's important to mention that there are other high profile cases of males put on "puberty blockers" and mutilated as young as Jazz Jennings and Kim Petras too. Two that come immediately to my mind are Jackie Green from Great Britain and Trinity Neal of the USA.

Jackie Green, who was put on blockers and estrogen at 12 and had genital surgery to remove his balls and penis on his 16th birthday, had his "transition" well documented in the press - and in the ITV drama series "Butterfly." Jackie is the son of Susie Green, former CEO of Mermaids, the British children's charity that promotes medical transition of kids, and the rabidly homophobic man Susie used to be married to.

Susie Green is an extremely influential TRA with worldwide reach who helped formulate the WPATH "standards of care" and had say over which children got treated at the NHS's Tavistock youth "gender identity development service" as well as over what kinds of "gender treatments" the Tavistock administered to kids and what kind of "gender medicine" research the Tavisock gender clinic did and didn't do..

Trinity Neal, put on blockers at 12 and given Medicaid approval for his testicles and penis to be removed when he was 16, is the son of DeShanna Neal, a single mother of four boys who used to work as a telephone loan collector, phone-sex worker and and writer of "erotica" who now is a professional "gender activist," attention-seeker and Democratic Party politician.

DeShanna Neal, who transed her very troubled son Trinity when was he was 3-4, tried to turn him into a big media star, basically the African American equivalent of Jazz Jennings.

DeShanna Neal is now a member of the state House of Represenatives in Delaware, Joe Biden's home state.

DeShanna Neal has four sons, three of them severely autistic with other major MH problems - and all three of her autistic sons are "gender diverse." Two of her autistic sons are "trans girls" that she transitioned as young boys; the third at 6-7 is "non-binary" and "exploring" his "gender journey options." Her fourth son is badly visually impaired and on his way to going completely blind, so "gender identity"has no appeal to him - which is understandable given that in the Neal house being a "trans girl" is all about wearing and liking "girly" clothing, the color pink, multicolored "drag" wigs, garishly colorful makeup and shiny, glittery materials.

They always reminded me of that New Age movement, Indigo Children.

Other times, they act like were in a cocoon and burst forth as a trans butterfly as opposed to going under the knife and scary pharmaceuticals.

It blows my mind people who are fighting to allow puberty blockers also say this.

Whenever someone says this, I bring up Jazz. “Oh it never happens? Wasn’t there a famous nationally broadcast story about a trans kid under 18 and the myriad of surgeries performed on him?”

O my… the appropriation. I can’t quite believe it. I’m religious, not fire/brimstone, but this level of appropriation of other cultures and worldviews is straight blasphemy. And a joke. She’s a cult leader. Part of my peaking was realizing these people are making themselves their own gods and demanding we worship them.

This is a really insightful observation. Thank you for this, I think I'll be thinking on it for a while.

There's often a thin line between harmless spirituality and mental illness.

With all due respect, if God/Buddha/Higher Power/whatever you believe in wanted you to be that way, you would have either been born like that, or transformed without a crap ton of surgery and drugs.

No mere mortal could possibly improve on what a deity or deities created. Anything that comes close usually ends with the creator and his/her creation being destroyed in a jealous rage, possibly with some kind of punishment to the creator so that no one else gets any funny ideas about trying again.

This "theology" is as crappy as the rest of their philosophical ventures.

I know this doesn’t add anything to the conversation but I can’t help it, what a wierdo.

Once upon a time she’d have lead bible study class and gossiped with the other church ladies about how much better they all were than the sinners and protested abortion clinics. But that’s not cool anymore so instead she’s doing… -gestures vaugely-… whatever this is.

A case study for those psychologists who think that some people just need religion in their lives.

I believe this clip from the mid-80s was the inaugural TV performance of Dana Carvey's famous Church Lady. With playwright Christopher Durang and Sigourney Weaver: https://youtu.be/YGZYGbBIGvI

Now that's a trio. 😄

If this were an actual spiritual practice, it would be in the company of mortification of the flesh or cultic emasculation. Those practices did exist.

If she's actually talking body dysmorphia and trauma, she knows better. Sounds like she's trying to frame her flight from the sexed body as a spiritual experience. That's a dangerous and disingenuous way to go. Borrowing her terminology -- which other creations of the Divine actively mutilate themselves so they can become "other?" (None. They are as they are.)

This is a complicated conceit for self-harm.

Jonah is the creator of the infamous "Trans People Are Sacred" billboard from 2019:

More about Jonah's devotion to genderflecting, spouting gibberish and appropriating and cannibalizing other people's religious traditions for the purpose of spreading the word of/about the Church of Genderology on her website: https://www.jonahwelch.com/about

TRA seeing the religious:

“You’ve been tricked by society and social pressures”

TRA seeing trans:

“Wow, your DNA sex brain has a spell on it”

Very gnostic of her.

the host of the podcast will accuse you of not working through "your own shadows" and other weird spiritual lingo

Additional thought to throw some psychotherapeutic light on this for a moment (real therapy, not gender-affirmation) -- this is what it looks like when someone is lost in their own shadow material/unprocessed trauma. DARVO on the host's part, as usual with this kind of stuff.

[Deleted]July 1, 2023

They are our shadows at the moment, and have been for about 20 years. Fuckers.

sensusquaeramraised by wolvesJuly 1, 2023

Feels like it, doesn't it? Twenty years is eerily accurate for my personal involvement (mentally ill AGP in the family). I'm way beyond over it, but here we are, still doing public damage control.
