It just makes me happy knowing that no matter how many surgeries they get, what clothes they wear and what they edit on their legal documents you can always tell what sex they are.

Even the butchest, masculine woman will always be 1000x more feminine than any man wearing a dress. Even the most feminine, girly man will always be 1000x more masculine than any woman wearing short hair.

I'm so glad that it's biologically ingrained in us to easily tell the different between the sexes at a seconds notice. (mainly to find out if it's a threat (a male) or a friend (female).

I don't really agree with the terms "feminine" and "masculine" (those are just stereotypes), but yeah, your point is a good one. Butch women are no less womanly than the most decked out, frilly fashionista. Flamboyant gay men are no less manly than male lumberjacks.

I think OP is referring to biological features, like square jaws, angular forehead and Adam's apple are masculine features and softer bones are feminine features.

The most masculine of TiFs, like Buck Angel, can be clearly seen as women because of their emotional response when discussing trans issues. TiMs will always be read as men because their emotional response is to threaten and be aggressive towards anyone who questions the narrative. Even the blind (possibly especially the blind) are never taken in by men playing pretend because they aren't fooled by the veneer of femininity.

Or better yet, TIFs never want to go to men's spaces but always want to stay in women's spaces and force all such spaces to erase women, while TIM always want to force their ways into women's spaces.

I suspect, if we all became used to seeing trans people everywhere, we'd quickly adapt to separating the stereotypes from the sex. That is, clothing, hair and makeup will all become gender neutral when processed in the brain, as opposed to a sort of meta-data about each sex, that it is now. You know how a skirt is recognised as something women wear? I think it will just be recognised as something men and women wear, and our brains will stop seeing men dressed as women, and just see men dressed in gender neutral clothes. I think it may make us even more capable of recognising the differences between the sexes, because we won't even use clothing and hair as indicators anymore, we'll rely more on subtle physical differences, that we already notice, like jaw size, etc, but I think we'll be even better at it when we are unable to use clothes and hair as a lazy indicator of a person's sex.

That is an excellent point. Never considered that because...... Like a Scottish kilt..... No skirt go spinny 😂

We're biologically ingrained to see sex because otherwise our specie wouldn't be able to procreate.

Yes, and we also need to be able to recognize and evaluate rivals and to see danger.

Even when I look at Chaz Bono’s face, it still looks feminine to me. Although. Buck Angel at first glance “passes”, her face screams “woman trying to masculinize face”. As butch as Ellen Degeneres, she still looks far more feminine than the likes of Caitlyn Jenner, Laverne Cox, Alana McLaughlin, etc.

It’s way easier for women to pass as men than it is for men to pass as women, but I agree about chaz Bono and many other tifs!

As soon as Buck Angel starts talking or expressing herself in any physical way that isn't a still shot, it's a tell. Buck completely communicates as, emotes as, and has female facial expressions. There is no getting around it.

Honestly I wouldn’t be able to tell about Jazz Jennings since he never went through puberty.

No, I don't think we could tell, but I also think there is something about Jazz that reads "off."

Maybe it's because we know Jazz is male, but still... there's something I can't put my finger on.

I agree, there is something off about Jazz. I also can't tell if it's because the whole world knows his story, but the first time I saw his picture my brain said "this isn't quite right now is it".

I can completely tell. I think it’s something ingrained in us biologically. Of course plastic surgery can throw me off, but I can usually tell when someone’s had extensive surgery.

But it makes me sad that the LAW says it doesn't matter. Any man can just announce "I'm a woman" and all of women's legal sex-based protections are gone.

The fact that it is so obvious they are men makes it all the more painful to me.
