I’m on episode 4 and so far the host is kind of trying to pander to the gender cultists by virtue signaling with pronouns and stuff, but the podcast on the whole has leaned more GC. Good luck, a lot of parrots live a long time and have great memories, 50 years from now they'll be saying things they learned as a young bird.

The parrot outlived my uncle and my grandparents (one of my aunts has him now)
They are so sweet, long lived , smart, and connected to their people. They one of the hardest animals to take on as an adoptee due to their past connections.

As a desister myself, I can tell you from experience they DON’T do anything in life. When I was identifying as a TIF, it was all I thought about, all the time, every single day, to the detriment of my career, personal relationships, and health. It set me back so far that I’m still feeling the effects of it years later. And I didn’t even do a thing to myself physically!
Identifying as transgender needs to be recognized for what it is: a mental health crisis that needs urgent treatment.

Much better, thanks! Nowadays I’m mostly just embarrassed as all hell about it and avoid everyone who knew about it due to the cringe lol.
Fortunately I wasn’t “out” to many people and my TIF phase lasted only a year, so it isn’t hard for me, but I can’t imagine how hard it is to desist/detrans when you go so far your whole life revolves around the identity.
Now mate, in all honesty, if you're stressing over a parrot, I'd say that your mental health was pretty much damaged from get-go.
