Seems like little girls are standing up against sexist male-centric language at their schools : https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/were-girls-not-guys-pupils-urged-to-protest-against-sexist-language-p90bzqm8f

Can't really say I disagree with them except for the boys and girls phase... Wanting to remove boys and girls from being used is just non-binary wokery...

Also seems like the head teacher in support of these girls is receiving death threats on social media... This should tell you just how misogynistic the world really is...

When women and girls stand up against sex-neutral language, they are standing up for their own self worth. They are saying that the default shouldn't be male and that the alternative shouldn't be neutral. Instead, they are saying, "WOMEN AND GIRLS are words we are proud to have. We are proud to be female and to be ourselves." We are enough. We don't need to bow down to self-hating dictates.

Ummm what's the problem with calling them girls and boys

One member of staff at the 500-pupil school, where many pupils are Muslim, was summoned to a professional conduct meeting for telling pupils that “boys don’t skip”. “The children ran into my office one playtime and said, ‘Miss, Miss, something terrible has happened . . . one of the supervisors has just taken a skipping rope off a boy and said boys don’t skip.’ They were rightly absolutely horrified. It was brilliant that they ran in to tell me,” Hewitt-Clarkson said.

But I do love this

It is probably "enby " wokery that wants to remove boys and girls from being used like I said in my OP... Other than that though I agree with the overall sentiment and the changes they are pushing for though...

Agreed, overall it's great. I would love this to be implemented in my son's school
