This account saw through it right away:
Are you actually serious? You just celebrated a full Pride Season. October is #WomensHistoryMonth and we are adult human females. Stop gaslighting Ontarians. Stop erasing females. Have some respect.
I see they had to switch off the comments after being throughly ratioed.
Come to Homer's BBBQ. The extra B is for BYOBB.
Edit: something I noticed in Canadian media is that the protests a couple weeks ago were all called "anti-LGBT" or "anti-LGBTQ+" but when they talk about trans in other contexts they use the entire "2SLGBTQIA+". Nobody called the protests "anti-2SLGBTQIA+" in headlines that I saw. Because my guess is that it's too patently ridiculous. I saw an interview with (i think) the Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth (lol) where she stumbled over the acronym, the reporter kinda laughed about it, and she replied, "or just trans and queer. Trans and queer." What?? Since when?? But also, sure, please use that phrase to discuss trans and queer theory bs, and leave LGB out of it.
Lol we're on the same wavelength because I thought of that Simpson's bit too when I saw the 2 Q's
And it's a giant "FUCK YOU" to the parents who marched and whose kids they teach. Isn't that nice for schools to do so early in the school year?
How many days are there for this cause? It's like there are more events than Christianity.
They have their own liturgical calendar filled to the brim from January to December with LGBTQALLTHEWAYTOZ “celebrations”.
Why are there two Qs now? I blink and six letters get added to that damn acronym
I imagine one might be the return of "questioning". Or quarrelous, which would certainly be accurate.
How the hell is “questioning” an identity?? Why does everyone need to label every single thought/feeling or otherwise interaction they ever have? Christ. This is why we have 30 flavors of asexual (with 29 of them being perfectly normal sexuality)
Bah. I thought September 30 would see the end of this, at least for the year.
Nooo, why do they keep adding letters and numbers?! I miss the simplicity of "gay and lesbian"!
