Peter Tatchell – Human rights campaigner and activist.
Freda Wallace – Political commentator, freelance writer and host of the Gender Nebulous podcast.
Where the hell to start with this 'debate'.
Firstly it was a manel of 3 men (plus a male host) and 1 woman. Wonderful.
Fred(a) the TIM debases the entire thing at one point by talking (yelling) about "fucking" people with his "female penis", and how sexually desirable he is: it appears he simply wants to force his fetish and sex life onto the entire audience. It was the most bizarre outburst and it left the audience baffled and doing one of those 'WTF!' laughs.
He also spends most of the debate trying to talk over other people, interrupting people, muttering and generally acting like an entitled, rude, arrogant and selfish man. He failed to make any points, and instead attacked and Helen, Sex Matters, the LGBA, etc, and made loads of false claims about them.
The points made by Helen and Marc were coherent, thought through, evidenced and logical. Helen was clearly pissed off having to share a platform with a TIM who has stolen her work and against whom she has had to take legal action. She also took no crap from the TIM constantly trying to talk over her.
Tatchell made a fool of himself by claiming that he doesn't agree with blanket generalisations, then admitting when questioned by the audience, that he does infact agree with some generalisations. Tatchell opened by telling the entire audience that they have a gender identity and that the clothes they are wearing are intentionally chosen to singal thier apparent 'gender identity'. The audience were somewhat miffed about his claims.
Tatchell also tried to force team the T with...every oppressed group in the history of human kind (almost). He tried to make a comparision between gender identity athiests and the National Front.
One of the comments under the video states:
"LOL certainly didn't send their best"
That's the whole problem mate... They did send thier best.
And that's why the gender identitarians don't want these debates to happen - becuase thier arguments, claims and demands are exposed as ridiculous. And TIMs show everyone that they're misogynist, selfish, entitled, sex obsessed, male fetishists.
"Listen to trans people!"
