So I've been absent from the forums for awhile because we have been dealing with the fallout of my husbands BFF "coming out" as a TIM. Completely out of the blue after knowing each other more than 20 years. It's been tough because hubs straight up told him "if you do this to your sons, we're not friends anymore" and of course autogynophiles gonna autogynophile which means he is minus one best friend and I feel just terrible for him.
Of course, being married to a TERF he's at least got a sympathetic and supportive audience to talk about his feelings, which leads me to the discussion we were having on the way home a few days ago.
Me: Y'know I distinctly recall when his ex wife informed him that she was really an elf on the inside, he thought that was absurd. I don't see the difference personally.
Him: The difference is that with enough makeup and shit she would actually look like an elf.
I commended him on this sickest of burns and insisted he let me share it with you guys. So I hope you've had a sunday morning chuckle.
