Does anyone else feel like nearly every time they see some TIP online, they say they have autism in their post history or in their bio? As someone with autism, it's infuriating. People with autism struggle to fit in with their own sex. Autistic boys tend to be nerdy and not "traditionally masculine." Autistic girls often dislike "traditionally feminine" things like makeup and frilly clothes and struggle to fit in with the general social order, even though they're far more pressured to do so. The Gender Cult uses this as "proof" that they're not really boys/girls and convince them to ruin their bodies and minds for transition.
Then, they'll talk about how their mental health issues (usually depression and mood swings) have "disappeared." Of course, that won't last long, because it all comes crashing back once the high wears off and they realize what they've done. They by nature see things in black and white. If I do this, I will be happy. End of story. I do this. I'm now happy. But then I'm not happy. I must now do this. And the cycle continues.
This is all so predatory. It's painful to see so many people, especially women and girls, fall for this. I feel their pain - they think this will finally make things better. They think it will finally make them fit in. But they're still not truly fitting in. They just have their cult, which will throw them to the dogs as soon as they challenge anything.
My breaking point was seeing a woman on Reddit say she was diagnosed with "boy autism" and that made her happy because she's a "masc" after all! Isn't that wonderful. She was hit with terrible sexism and thinks it's a good thing because her magic testosterone made her problems go away. For now. Wait until she realizes that being a 5'2" woman with facial hair won't make people treat her better outside of online circles.
😻 i've been good friends with more than one cat with markings like that. And those beautiful green eyes. You are in good company. And what a cute name!
I have a tabby, too! Love a little house tiger 🐯
Yours has beautiful green/grey eyes :)
I'm so glad you are doing that. Michfest ending is what peaked me.
