QuestionHow Important Is It to Post about US Politics?

Politics and the Media are the most important game changers in the stand against transgender ideology in all countries but especially in the US with the presidential election coming up. IMO, discussing specific politicians is key to any talking about politics. There is an article at the website Democrats for an Informed Approach to Gender titled Let's Talk About It . It's focus is on discussing gender critical issues, and not specifically about politics, but it is a very useful tool.
Why There Should be Political Discussions
To break the silence elsewhere. There are now no presidential candidates who would resolutely stand against transgender ideology. The legacy media was very successful in knocking down the one candidate (DeSantis) and portraying questioning of gender ideology as a cultural issue pushed by bigots and right wingers. Where the candidates stand on gender is now a verboten issue.
To engage and alert new members of Ovarit. There are multiple reasons why women read or post here, and many want to post about personal interactions. Others want to know what they can do to change the direction of the cult takeover of our world.
Why We Should Avoid Discussing Politics
Too contentious
Very likely to cause more work for moderators
Ineffective
Could get redundant as there are presently only two candidates for the presidency.
There are probably a thousand more reasons not to post about politics but because I support more discussions, I will end there.
