I was at a card/gaming/hobby shop earlier today to grab some painting and miniature supplies, and I overheard some of the guys at the front counter talking while I was browsing. One of them started testing the waters and asked about Harry Potter opinions, and led into asking what the other guy thought about JKR. I figured I was about to hear a huge rant about how “transphobic” and “evil” she was, given the usual clientele of a gaming shop like that, but I was honestly surprised when he started mentioning that she was right and everyone was piling onto her with “groupthink”. He even encouraged the other worker to look up her original tweets and just read them for themselves, and try to figure out how they’re “transphobic”
Wild to me that the gaming guys who are selling D&D and Magic the Gathering supplies to a huge TRA fanbase are publicly talking about views like that—But it actually made my day almost to even hear men acknowledging it in such a trans-catering community. It’s giving me slight hope that people are opening their eyes to everything!
What’s Planet Coaster? I’m willing to try a game out. I’m the same way though, I stay away from online multiplayer stuff where there’s the potential to interact with strangers.
It's more building than strategy and it has a really nice community. They do park build contests and park spotlights. People make really cool parks with the game:

Basically it's like roller coaster tycoon, but the skies the limit with what you can make with it.
That looks awesome. I’m going to get it tomorrow. I’m into building in the sims
