Do you know what a woman is? After reading the Yorkshire Party’s manifesto that had absolutely nothing about women in it, I emailed them around a week ago asking their stance on contraception, abortion, equal pay, childcare costs, maternity leave, and ‘what is a woman’? Still haven’t had a reply. Speaks volumes.
Only the Conservatives and Reform know what a woman is. Unfortunately they also expect the country to excel doing more of the same kicking of poor people while they’re already struggling, so they can gtfo. Almost all the other parties seem to think uttering the word ‘trans’ makes you an untouchable demigod, so they too can gtfo.
Notable exceptions: Party of Women (not standing in my area), Communists (not standing in my area), Socialist Labour (thankfully we have a candidate).
Chances are high that since The Guardian most of the "female" voices featured will be TiMs, but may as well take a shot at it and see if they dare to feature any genuine female voices.
