QuestionSwyer Syndrome

Hope this is the right circle.

Hi all, this whole Khelif thing made me Google about Swyer syndrome (which I'm pretty confident he doesn't have)

So a person affected by Swyer has XY chromosomes, inactive SRY, an uterus, no ovaries, and normal female genitalia and overall appearance.

Thus these people get usually registered as female and brought up as women.

Problems arise usually later, at puberty, these people are given hormones to develope like normal females.

I Googled some instances, these people look like regular women, I wouldn't say "ah that's a man!" (Thing I did when I saw the boxer).

So I'm not sure if it's fair to consider these people women (since they "look like women", have a vulva, an uterus and don't produce sperm whatsoever) or men (cause they have XY chromosomes).

I'd like some guidance. This is thankfully very very rare but it's the first time I feel legitimately confused.

Please don't bring up semenya, he is totally a male, with testicles and with all probability ambiguous genitalia at birth.
