Read one breakdown of JD Vance's discussion of trans issues, and then watched the 20ish minutes of video (from about 22 minutes in) where he discusses it, and couldn't help feeling like I have somehow become a conservative compared with young people these days. He sounds reasonable. The representation of him seems skewed.
I didn't watch the rest, not voting for him, but I was bothered by how the issue gets presented so often. I cannot tell anymore if it's intentional propaganda, or if the honest view of the nation has shifted and I am just old-fashioned now, and acting like a prude who's freaked out at short skirts or whatever.
Any thoughts, esp from younger folks?
