I will try not to reveal by bias, and thus prejudice the results. I have heard folks pronounce “folks” either “foLks” or “fohx.” I have a strong opinion about which one is correct, and which one is for poseur faux folks. Inform my opinion via poll, so that I can either continue to judge, or accept that I am wrong.

Update: By the authority of Bugs Bunny, the L should be either entirely or mostly unvoiced. I accept that there is some regional variation, so my judgement is this: if you say the L in yolk, you can have the L in folks. If you don’t pronounce the L in yolk but do pronounce it in folks, I will secretly think you are a twerp.
