Feminism is the movement to liberate women from patriarchy. We stand up for the rights of women to control our own bodies as individuals and to control women-only spaces as a class.
Women are adult human females. We do not believe that men can become women by 'feeling' like women or 'identifying' as women. Gaslighting doesn't usually go from 0-100 in a week. It's a slow process that escalates, like the frog in a pot of boiling water. It's often really, really hard to see. The good thing is that you've seen it and now you know what it's like and hopefully you can avoid men like this in the future. Take care of yourself.

Please don't beat yourself up over this. It's so easy to fall for this crap. Abusive, manipulative men are so good at what they do. Chalk it up as a lesson learned so you never have to experience this again.
