The only question we need to ask TRAs
This brilliant tweet really is the only question we need to ask TRAs who say it's safe for unaltered TIMs to be in safe spaces reserved for women:
Answer this simple question: if, as YOU keep insisting, it's perfectly safe and natural for women to be naked around male bodies, how come it's suddenly dangerous for transwomen to be naked around male bodies?
It instantly exposes that TRAs are demanding that women shield men from the violence of men. Not our job. Not our responsibility. And they have no response (because there is none).
If only they'd Google it - so often I see people ask and get a reply like "TERFs are evil facists who want to genocide LGBTQIA+ people", so they say 'oh, OK, those are bad people then'. It's like when someone asks what JK Rowling said that was so bad and instead of actual quotes, they get link to some YouTube video that creatively reinterprets what she said to mean the worst possible thing.
Yeah the lack of curiosity of some people continues to disappoint me. That said, I think the more times the term is used the more people look into it themselves. And I see more push back these days. When someone posts a link to a video there are often times people who will encourage them to look into it for themselves instead.
