Hi Ovarettes,
Unfortunately, I've recently had a big blowout argument about trans stuff with a very close cousin. I greatly value this relationship, so I'm not cutting her off.
We had a very hard time understanding each other's position, but I finally got it to this point:
Where she's iffy:
Basically, the issue is that I'm blackpilled on all this crap and she's still in the 2015 stages of "all trans are just poor vulnerable underdogs we should be kind to because they're not asking much". She's not very online and doesn't know most of what we take for granted at this point.
She's been bullied by mob mentality groups growing up, specifically for being different. She also (almost pathologically) gives everyone the benefit of the doubt. Like, to a fault.
The big thing is she's willing to read anything I send her. So, please - I need help. I need sources that show, in general, the issues with the TRA movement.
In particular, I think it will be effective if I can give her good sources that explain very well how the TRA movement has gone from underdog to mob bully. Being able to show how the movement bullies anyone who gives off even a whiff of non support, especially as a mob, should be high impact.
I'm putting together my own sources, but I can't find everything and I need to be careful about where it comes from. Not blatantly far right, not hyperbolic, not pure opinion. Anything that links to its own sources would be fantastic.
Anyway, thanks in advance. It's crucial for me to step carefully here, but there is real potential for peaking.
Edit: thank you all so very much for your thoughtful responses, it means so much to me that I can reach out here for this kind of help when I desperately need it. I will keep you all posted on how things go from here.
