Was scrolling my socials and came across someone apologizing for in general thinking bad thoughts about trans people. The comments gave me a bit of a light bulb moment.
One was essentially "read more posts from trans women and not from radfems, I don't want you to go down the pipeline."
And I realize that so many people spouting this nonsense have never met a trans woman or at least haven't spoken to one or spent any amount of time around them. I have 2.5 I have to regularly deal with, and it's such a low grade insulting thing to watch them ape what they think women are like.
These online girls are just regurgitating so much nonsense without going to the source.
I was almost tempted to comment "or go and talk to a trans woman, since the lived experience is so important"
(Also my phone wants to capitalize trans and it's driving me nuts.)
