The Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas hosted a convention for TIMs.
I was speaking to someone who works in management for Dreamscape Companies, of which the Rio is a property.
The company has said amongst themselves they will never host them again
They were bad for profits and their behavior, well…you know
They were incredibly demanding and high maintenance, of course, but spent very little
The whole point of them being there was to preen and be seen in the absolute most inappropriate and disgusting outfits they could find.
This chased off actual clients.
Cleaning staff had it especially bad. They are almost all female, so of course the TIMs enjoyed making them uncomfortable or punishing them in some way
Just disgusting male everything
And these men have the nerve to call themselves women
These TIMs can’t even keep it together when the tide is obviously turning. Now would be the time for positive outreach, or even just dialing down the disgusting.
They are going to ‘fight the transphobia’ by doubling down on what makes them so unworkable
