Rant“Transgender” is a purely human phenomenon
Humans are animals. Mammals. In mammals, sex is immutable and it takes the biological categories of male and female to reproduce. Humans are sexually dimorphic - we fit into one of 2 reproductive categories (yes, people with DSD’s too, having a disorder does not make you not male or female)
We all know this here. Many behaviours exhibited in humans are recognisable in other mammals. Heterosexuality (obviously) bisexuality and homosexuality. Many male mammals rape the female of the species too. Distressed animals self soothe and self harm. Hubris often allows us to forget that we ARE simply animals, simply mammals.
Transgenderism is not something that exists outside of human behaviour. If you castrate a bull it doesn’t suddenly become a cow. If you put a pink sparkly bow on the head of a bull, it doesn’t become a cow. It is only in humans that we are expected to literally PRETEND a man has turned into a woman, sometimes simply by virtue of saying “I feel like a woman”.
How can you “feel like” a biological category you do not belong to and have never and will never experience?
