The Sullivan Review found that in one case a mother had requested a change of sex for their baby who was just a few weeks old ‘and the GP had complied’, granting the child a new NHS number.

Good grief. She came home with the wrong product, so she asked for an exchange at the store? It’s going to be a lot harder to stop the objectification of women if we’re now starting to see people objectify babies. Seriously, what GNC act could possibly have been used to justify this? I guess this is the new version of “don’t ask, don’t tell”.

I know a judge in Connecticut legally changed the sex of a 4 year old boy, but I'm surprised that type of thing could happen in the UK. And to a newborn, no less.
