If you please, how would you define the phrase “gender critical?” How would most people define it? Please give a definition (precise, none-circular), and not just a description.
I ask because, I feel like we on Ovarit fall into two incompatible sects: First are those who believe gender identity is fiction like ghosts or Excalibur. Second are those who believe gender identity is socially constructed like the value of a dollar or like etiquette. (Goodness gracious, the most frustrating thing is when a person believes that the value of a dollar is fictitious!)
Hint: I would start by defining the word “gender,” regarding gender identity, as: An imaginary attribute that is simultaneously linked and unlinked with sex category.
Edit: Btw the poll is disjointed from the question I asked. Forgive me.
