This is wonderful!! I’m autistic and it’s so disheartening to see how many autistic people get sucked into this cult and end up irreversibly changing/harming their bodies. It’s so exciting and encouraging to see an organization speaking out about it, I’d love to see this in other countries too!
It's very encouraging, I hope this is the beginning of more organisations speaking up. Eventually more autistic ppl who transition/detransition will add their voices/experiences to the pile too and help build a bigger picture of just how enormous this scandal is for us
This is so inspiring. My toddler is autistic. And I worry that she could get sucked into genderwoo if it doesn't fall out of fashion within a few years
I really feel that many autism spaces, especially online groups, are pushing autistic ppl into trans identities. If anyone ever tries to say a different perspective it get's shut down immediately. They're in gender echo chambers.
Same with gay & lesbian spaces. Young gays & lesbians who want to find community pretty much have to go along with this queer/trans bullshit if they want to join any sort of LGB group

Nope. There's nothing out there for them :'( Though there are detransitioners who have found out they are autistic who talk about it. But the info isn't good enough yet as it's still too early to articulate effectively, people haven't found ways to describe it fully yet. FunkyPsych is an autistic detransitioner who talks about it

She's a bit contraversial to some ppl, she has spoken at Genspect events and something about that AGP dude, is it Philly Illy? I can't remeber. Not much choice out there though. Theres also Hazel Appleyard -autistic desister/detrans. Ritchie Herron(TullipR) is possibly autistic, but definiltey OCD.

There are multiple autism organizations in Denmark, and this one was heavily criticized when they "dared" to make a leaflet about about autism and gender. But they stood their ground.
They were also the only autism organization that were not officially invited to give a consultation response to the Danish Health Authorities's new treatment guidelines for genderdysphoria "incongruence". Since the consultation was open to the public they delivered one anyway, as the only autism organization. They are amazing people
Wow, really? Have you got any links where I can read about this please? Since it's in Danish I struggle to find the info. I have to use google translate or Chatgpt - but I don't know which posters/images or texts to put into a translator. I only found out they'd done this response bcos someone alerted me to it.

Autismeforeningen (NOT the same as Autisme- og Aspergerforeningen. They are two different organizations who are in conflict with each other. Autismeforeningen is the biggest organization, and they were originally called Landsforeningen Autisme ("Countryorganization Autism"), but changed their name in order to make it difficult for Autisme- og Aspergerforeningen to be recognized and create confusion. The chair woman from Autisme- og Aspergerforeningen were originally excluded from Autismeforeningen)

Foreningen Svær Autisme (represents the heavily retarded without language (sorry don't know what the correct word is) so it makes sense that they havn't participated)

Autismeforeningen did not send anything.
Fun fact: The total pages of responses are roughly 400. Out of that, a response by a TIM called Amanda counts for 90 pages of that. Keep in mind, this is a public consultation so both official authorities, NGOs and citizens can participate. There is also a letter bombarding from a TRA group called Researchkollektivet Trans Tjek, and who has mostly just copy pasted from the same document.
What is really great however is that Dansk Pædiatrisk Selskab (Danish Pediatric Society) and Børne- og ungdomspsykiatrisk selskab (Children and Adolescent Psychiatric Society) has sent som critical responses that questions the base of evidence behind the guideline proposal from the authorities (which were written with the help of LGBT+ Denmark and the TRA-parent group The Association for Support for Transgender Children)
I'm struggling to translate the Høringssvar link to find those other responses you mentioned. Can't seem to do it via google translate, and the other sites I've tried to use say it's too big a file or don't like pdfs. Any tips on the best place to get it translated as a whole document? For free.
Also; you should check out the response from CKI Odense and CKI København (they are official, but independent, regional gender treatment centers). They sent a joined response where they raise concern about how autistic people are caught in gender ideology

And yes, they rock! They have really deep dived into how people on the spectrum can be lost in gender ideology. Their consultation response is super sharp and very professional
