Trans is still relatively new and cool now but the next stage is "headmates" and "systems."
If you weren't around Tumblr six or seven years ago, let me explain:
Trans stuff became huge on Tumblr and then when it started to become more mainstream, it became almost passé. The demi-boys and femme non-binary crabgenders needed something new, so they started faking having Disassociative Identity Disorder.
Whether or not DID is real, the way that these people portray it is not. They pretend to have multiple personalities, which the becomes a fight for the rights of multiple people in a single body, or a "system" if you will.
I used to work in silicon Valley tech. This was a breeding ground for the original first waves of AGP tech nerds. Now, it's all about being "systems."
You might see them on Twitter already. They use "we" pronouns and say things like "we are a trans woman." They're always trans, too. Because of course.
The tech company that rhymes with moogle has support groups for "system" employees. They influence HR policy. They're 99% straight white TIMs, though the odd NLOG TIF joins in.
And the way they recruit is startlingly similar. Feel left out? Feel like a weirdo? Like no one understands you? Do you have "trauma"? You're probably a system! It's definitely not just that you have emotions and a personality!
Mark my words. This is next.
