Keeping it vague so I don’t dox myself.
I’m a health care worker at an organization that prides itself on being progressive/inclusive (AKA lots of money and time is funneled into woke virtue signaling instead of improving patient care). Today I had a TIM patient who started off the interaction by pulling his dress up to show off he wasn’t wearing anything underneath. He then proceeded to tell me I was doing things wrong while checking vital signs, so he could reposition his arm and press it against my chest, and then commented about how they “touched my boobies.” Then they insisted on me doing a very intimate procedure which was not medically necessary which I had to refuse multiple times. When it was time for them to leave, they pulled their underwear out of their purse to once again put on in front of me.
Obviously an incident report was filed, but god damn. I’m still nauseated and shaking. This isn’t close to the first time I’ve been sexually harassed at work, but something about this incident I can’t stomach. Maybe it’s the fact they used me to roleplay their fetish out while I was trying to do my job. Maybe it’s the fact my tax dollars are contributing to funding this fetishistic delusion.
If this was a ~cIsHeT mAn~ I know he’d be booted out for this behavior, but because they wear dresses and sparkly eyeshadow I know they’ll just get a talking to.
I’m so tired of this. Thanks for reading.
