Welcome to o/Movies!
This is a circle for discussion of films. We invite and support civil, open discussion of all genres. Talk about a film you saw recently, a great (or terrible!) review, or your favorite director. Casual opinions are welcome, as are serious debates about film theory.
We do not prohibit any films, and we welcome constructive discussion about films that have controversial or difficult content (however, we expect that you follow the Ovarit Rules and Guidelines). We understand that some people may find specific works or genres to be distasteful or triggering to them personally, while others may enjoy talking about them, or consider them to have artistic merit. We ask that you exercise common sense with regards to what you choose to participate in, and why.
Tag your posts with the appropriate flair, and use the NSFW tag if appropriate. If your post contains spoilers about the plot of a recent film, please mention that in the title. Spoilers are not required for older films, films that are well-known, or films that have a broad cultural significance. You can tag any spoilers using >! word !<

Nala's daughter Kiara?
Yep!
Why didn't they remake that one?
It would be awesome if they did! Did you watch it? :)
Years ago on DVD.
It was really cool! I will watch it again soon!
If they remake that one it could be a way to " make things right " for Scar as they seem to be wanting to make him a more sympathetic character as of recently like the Mufasa movie as Kiara ends up with Scar's adopted son Kovu in The Lion King 2...
Alas Kovu was not made Scar's biological son because Disney didn't want incest between cousins but since Mufasa and Scar don't seem to be biological brothers in the new live action movie continuity then Disney can just go with the original plan of making Kovu be Scar's biological son without it being incest when he mates with Kiara...
