This is a circle for discussion of films. We invite and support civil, open discussion of all genres. Talk about a film you saw recently, a great (or terrible!) review, or your favorite director. Casual opinions are welcome, as are serious debates about film theory.
We do not prohibit any films, and we welcome constructive discussion about films that have controversial or difficult content (however, we expect that you follow the Ovarit Rules and Guidelines). We understand that some people may find specific works or genres to be distasteful or triggering to them personally, while others may enjoy talking about them, or consider them to have artistic merit. We ask that you exercise common sense with regards to what you choose to participate in, and why.
Tag your posts with the appropriate flair, and use the NSFW tag if appropriate. If your post contains spoilers about the plot of a recent film, please mention that in the title. Spoilers are not required for older films, films that are well-known, or films that have a broad cultural significance. You can tag any spoilers using >! word !<. For example, >! test !< will result in test .
