"Likes kink - has a dungeon and a hose pipe."

I'm just disappointed there's no dirty mirror and massive amounts of clutter.

Likes kink - has a dungeon and a hose pipe

is this... a meme? a Fred(a) Wallace reference? something else?

Just referencing the "it puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again" bit when Catherine(?) is imprisoned underground.

Have you seen Silence of the Lambs?

Lipsy•_____•February 15, 2024

I haven't, srry, although I know the basic contours of the plot (with the current transanity how could I not).

That’s fine. Basically, the guy in the meme (Buffalo Bill) was so turned on by the thought of himself as a woman that he abducted and murdered young women to make suits out of their skin. He wouldn’t kill them immediately, though; instead, he had a pit in his (very dirty) basement, where he would hold the woman hostage and force them to apply lotion constantly.

It is so good, imo it's the best psychological thriller of all time. Watch it!!!!

Also I love that he's 91 miles away. The movie came out in 1991. Valentine's Day to be exact

Agreed. And despite being written and directed by men, it's one of the few movies I've seen where a female character in a professional setting is just constantly having to navigate men's feelings about it endangering/getting in the way of her ability to do her job (say, Chilton seeing an opportunity to hit on her, not GAF that she's there for an important reason, then getting spiteful and petulant and interfering when she (carefully) turns him down). There's a constant subtle undercurrent of sexism that's almost background noise in light of the horror that just rings true for me that you don't see often.
