It will never stop amusing me, how men don't see women as equal humans. I was listening to a podcast the other day, where two dudes discussed abortion rights and then trans people in women's places.
The first conversation went like: "Human life is sacred. You cannot just let people murder innocent babies" "But what if it is a rape?" "I know people who were born as a result of a rape and are now grateful to their mothers and are pro-life themselves". "But what if it's a 14 year old girl? I have a 14 year old daughter and no way she had to be forced to carrying a baby" "But it's a baby, we cannot murder babies"... And so on and so on.
I don't know what I expected, but wanted to scream. It is not about your buddy who is grateful to his mom and think his life is more important than her well-being. It is not about your fucking daughter who is apparently the only female you see as a human. It is about using other people bodies without their consent as human incubators. Period.
Then they talked about the dude who was displaying his balls in a family spa some times ago. The conversation that started promising went into a discussion about "the real legit trans, who had all the surgeries" and "the fake ones who just use the opportunity to get into women's spaces". Yes, a dude with a working penis is potentially more dangerous than the one who has an inverted one, but did they just decide for us, who should watch us naked and who shouldn't?
I don't know why did I torture myself with it, but at least I feel better now after ranting about it. Thanks for listening to my Terf Talk
